Problem

A hygienic insect-rearing production line needed a fully automated sorting architecture capable of high throughput with minimal manual intervention.

Approach
  • Led concept development, feasibility evaluation, and mechanical architecture definition
  • Designed modular conveyor and channelising systems, integrating sensors, actuators, and decision-based separation
  • Validated iteratively via rapid prototyping (3D printing & CNC), then oversaw fabrication, assembly, and commissioning
Result

Multi-channel flow architecture eliminated bottlenecks and a fail-safe distribution system maintained uptime, reducing manual handling while improving stability and throughput on the production floor.
